Not acknowledging the fact that her big sister took time away from her work just to make time for her.

The little sister gets very annoyed to the point where she lashes out at her older sister and tells her to go away, because she is "too old" for the activities that were being organized. However, Rarity seemingly wanted to do childish things with her sister, who was getting older and wasn't too interested in them as she was when she was younger. She then finally finds the time to do so, and makes her way to meet her little sister. The problem I had with this episode was that, by the end, Rainbow was the one that had to learn to just "accept" the insulting nickname and the bullies were in the right because, apparently, name-calling was their little "tradition".Īnother one that had me scratching my head a lot was this one episode where this pony named Rarity was feeling guilty because she was away from her city for a long time and hadn't spent much time with her kid sister (forgot this one's name too). This isn't the issue with the episode I have though. In that episode, the "Wonderbolts" constantly bullied the Rainbow Pony by calling her a name that deeply offended her. There was this other episode where a pony by the name of Rainbow Dash joined this group known as the "Wonderbolts". My children, especially the younger ones, didn't quite understand the concept.

Although she learned to forgive herself at the end of the episode, I found it very strange how such a dark subject, like self-abuse, was inserted into a show for little girls. Once, I saw this one episode where a blue sparkly haired pony (forgot her name) created some smokey demon that gave her nightmares every night as a way to punish herself for the wrongdoings she was responsible for in the past. I find myself enjoying it from time to time, but there are a few issues I have noticed that I felt may be a bit of an issue with my children.
